According to MSNBC,

U.S. government officials as well as Iranian Americans and communications satellite operators confirm that all U.S.-based satellite broadcasts to Iran are being jammed out of Cuba, one of Iran's major allies and a nation increasingly dependent on Iranian oil.

I don't think that this sort of thing should be tolerated, anymore than an attack on a ship in international waters should be tolerated. I'm not sure what to do about it, though. At the very least, the US government should be supplying stronger transmitters to the Iranian-American broadcasters, which might help. I'm not sure what we can do to Cuba, short of launching some HARM missiles, which might be overkill.

Hopefully, the next generation of comsat will be designed to resist these attacks.
