Mars Exploration Rover A Launch

The first of the Mars exploration rovers is scheduled for launch on Sunday, at 2:06 PM. There is a 60% chance that bad weather will wash out the launch, however. Another opportunity occurs on Sunday, and after that there are two opportunities a day until the rocket flies.

You can check out web coverage at the URLs given above. The first is the Spaceflight Now mission status center for the launch, the second is a link to Nasa TV, where you can watch the launch. Generally, the cable news networks also cover launches like this, starting a few seconds before launch.
