Yellow Ribbons

In sad news, the body of the last MIA soldier was found in Iraq last Thursday. Army Spc. Edward John Anguiano spent several weeks as the only soldier listed as Missing in Action.

I wonder if this will be the signal for the yellow ribbons around the country to begin coming down. While, from what I gather, the yellow ribbons started off as a symbol of support for hostages and became a symbol of support for POWs and MIAs, they now seem to have morphed into a general statement of support for the troops.
