→ http://scaled.com/projects/tierone/New_Index/flight_data/flt... I've been following, with some interests, the flight test reports for Scaled Composite's SpaceShipOne, one of the entries in the X-Prize contest. For those who do not know, the X-Prize will be given to the first team that flies three people above 100km twice in (IIRC) two weeks, on the same ship, without government funding. The latest flight included a functional test of the rocket system, without actually firing it. I don't know what else is left in the planned test program for SS1, but it sure looks like they are close to the first actual flight. - Tom | permalink | changelog | Last updated: 2003-12-12 11:45 Previous Entry | Home | Next Entry Comments Commenting has been suspended due to spam. |
