To give their supporters something to do while the Democrats have their primary debates, the Republican National Committee produced a version of Buzzword Bingo tailored to the Democratic debates. The funniest square I've seen so far is the one a player can take if a LaRouche supporter yells something during the debate. There is one bug that seems obvious in the script... It doesn't seem to check if a square appears twice in the same board. This, coupled with a small pool of entries, makes such duplication almost inevitable. This is due to the so-called birthday paradox. To expect that only half the generated boards do not have at least one duplicate space, one would need 407 different spaces--- a bit of work, for something that's probably intended as a joke. - Tom | permalink | changelog | Last updated: 2003-10-09 17:41 Previous Entry | Home | Next Entry Comments Commenting has been suspended due to spam. |
